Video Practice: Presque Isle Ice Dunes
Today was another video practice day. I actually pulled out the tripod this week too. The focus today was to practice panning smoothly. Getting a consistent pan takes a steady hand and I think I will have to get a bit more practice into it. Here's the resulting video of the Ice Dunes on Presque Isle.
I'm actually much happier with the video quality this time around. I think relying on warp stabilizer too much in Premiere decreases the quality. I'm going to avoid using it in the future. Just as with photography everything is easier if you get it right in camera and don't try to fix in post!

I’m curious to hear your thoughts. When you flip through instagram and you see a friend in a beautiful exotic location, how do you react to it compared to a photo they take in an obscure restaurant (or any innocuous unidentifiable location)?
